1995 DBR Axis Team Titanium -> new pic on page 11

Re: 1995 DBR Axis Team Titanium -> new pics page 10, scroll down

Updated with new forks. Previous owner had overhauled these and that means they now have about 10mm travel. But who cares. They look cool.

Wanted to try these Avid levers. Combined parts from two different pairs.

Updated again. Can’t stop messing with this bike. Saddle, seatpost, pedals and new tyres! Love them.

Re: 1995 DBR Axis Team Titanium -> updated again (page 11)

Marzocchi XC500 / XC700 would be sublime (looks wise) with the DBR Axis TT.

Liking this thread a lot, from a fellow eternal tinkerer.

Re: 1995 DBR Axis Team Titanium -> Back to retro spec on page 9!

Thanks, Woz!

I know I know, those forks looked really good about three years ago when I had them.
But then about a year and a half later:

The Marzocchi started leaking so it’s back to a rigid fork.

Re: 1995 DBR Axis Team Titanium -> updated again (page 11)

The rear tyre rubbed against the insides of the chainstays when pedaling heavily. So I decided to get rid of 224 pieces of side knobs.

With side cutters it was easy job, the rubber compound is really soft. Rubbing went from annoying to bearable.
