Specialized Stumpjumper 1994 18"

Retro Newbie
I'm selling my '94 Specialized Stumpjumper as am not getting the time to ride it with a young family  :D

It's an 18 inch frame (C to T seat tube) purchased on here earlier in the year. Freshly powder coated and decal'd and has had little use since. All in great working order and looks lovely.

Parts are mainly original, including XT rear mech, LX front mech and cranks, Salsa bars, twist grip shifters and original saddle. All the parts were transferred from an identical donor bike that had a seized bottom bracket.

It has a more or less new set of Schwalbe Balck Jacks on it.

I have replaced the cantis with some entry-level V brakes using a top tube cable guide, but have the original cantis if desired. Also the original quill stem (currently using an adapter and an ahead).

The bike is listed on ebay but would be great to see it go to a Retrobiker.

I am based in Newhaven, East Sussex. I can deliver to Brighton or Lewes easily.

Not sure how to price it, so pitched at £200 but open to sensible offers.

Re:

Nice bike, GLWS.

Its probably more likely a '94-'95 model given the little noodle on the seat tube.

Re:

Ok, thank you. I’ll amend the post accordingly.

Open to any further retro biker insight!...and of course offers :)
