1993 Lotus Sport Monocoque

Personally I’d go for so long as they’re in good shape as they’re the real deal and you’d get most of your money back selling the rest on

Re:

The price has just been reduced to £90...somebody buy it please and put me out of my misery

Not seen that before.. Looks great  ..Sort of the look I'm going for, will have a bit of Titanium mixed in there too :D

Re:

Dont forget to put compound on your Ti threads.....
I forgot.... it takes quite a few drill bits and a lot of care to remove them them from your nice black stem

I have a (very vague - great great great grandma) familial connection to the Player family - hence the colour choice

Re:

Thanks for the heads up on the titanium. All the bolts have a gold coating so I don't know if that makes a difference?

Re:

Received my M900 shifters from player today and bought some STX shifters for the brackets on Ishaw's recommendation so thought I would marry the two up

Only to find that the pins on the STX shifters and the one's on the XTR shifters were in different positions and the XTR pins are 3mm but the STX are 2.5mm. 2 pins line up but the other two are in slightly different positions. Put some marker pen on the two pins that didn't fit and married up the brackets (once I'd drilled out the holes to 3mm). Then set about with the drill ….

All went well and the brackets seem to fit well

Just got to give the levers a thorough but gentle clean next

Nice work on the mounts

I work for a Japanese company that seem to find it impossible to allow any parts no matter how identical to be moved from one model to another

Nice bit of drillium there !
