Sounds like the importer then.
(Which appears to be Madison these days.)

I dealt with Mavic directly too - there was no sign of Madison on the emails - just Mavic logos and pictures and Mavic email address

Uk customer service is almost certainly Madison. Even if they are dressed up with mavic logos.

Used to be chickens.
