How much (possible clear out)

Dirt Disciple
Hi. I have quite a few older bikes that I'm considering adding to my home insurance, also possibly reducing my herd due to space and other commitments. Would really like to ask (grrr) what people would be willing to pay and how much it would cost me to replace if the worst was to happen. Many thanks

with the possible exception of the IFT I would put them in the 'irreplaceable' category which makes valuation tricky. Even IFT don't seem to come up that often. Assuming they are all minty and working the actual selling price for any of them will only be a few hundred Id have thought, but cost top replace ....who can say for sure.

For valuation I'd think about each part, if you were to split and sell the bits what would it all come to, and use that for an estimate of cost to replace.

Unless you want to give me the Orange of course :D worthless that one, I'll save you the embarrassment of taking it to the tip

Re:

Thanks Rick. Don't seem to be able to find much if any info on the k2 comp 3 and the orange e4. K2 voodoo and ift will all be available for sale if I knew what to ask for them?

Re:

That IFT looks very original, aside from the forks/stem, but right down to the grips by the looks of it though!
Seems it’s larger than the others by some margin, so a tall buyer needed at around the £150-£200 mark I’d say.
Was it bought from ‘Cycle Care’ in High Wycombe? (Sticker on the seat tube) If so, same place I bought one from :)
