Re: MORATI HC 1.1 full titanium bike XTR STM

Yes upside down fork! STM forks can fit long or short boots , but all them are upside down.
The yellow are boots, not legs, the legs are the black pipes connected to the crown, the stanctions are protected from the yellow boots and not visible with long boots installed.

USD fork?!!
I had the same thought
Every day's a school day on RetroBike ;)
Not that revolutionary for retro MTB, Halson Design, Shiver and Suspenders fitted to the Mountain Cycle San Andreas were all usd forks.

Re: MORATI HC 1.1 full titanium bike XTR STM

I can't get my head around how that fork works at all. If it's an upside down design, how does the brake move with the wheel?

brakes are connected to the stanctions
there is an hole in the legs to allow brake pivot to move up and down
boots are protecting this hole from dust

Re:

The brake bridge and mounts are connected, they slide up and down with the stanchions... you can see it better looking at one without the covers
