I set up the Maguras on my Prestige yesterday (with RC30 forks), it's a bit fiddly, but once done that's it for years & years, only thing you should ever need to do is change brake pads, and they just pop strsight in & out :)

Tjeres various brake boosters around, RETRO ones are the yellow or grey or black Magura ones, several types of carbon boosters, plus aftermarket ones.

The Magura quick release levers are a handy addition, otherwise you need to deflate the tyre to remove the wheel.

Mount designs altered, but the arm parts all stayed with the same clamping mechanism, I think at first they had various canti mount 'width' styles to get the brakes the correct distance and still vertical.
they then unified the design and you could flip it to get different distances.
the grey arm bit is just a 'brake booster', you don't have to have it fitted if it gets in the way and you can live without it.

They then moved to EVO and then EVOII setups,
EVOII setups seen here fitted to this pretty PACE F3
