So my new bike should arrive in the next couple of days.

It’s a Cannondale Jekyll Goodboy edition.

I’m buying it without the polished XTR groupset

Probably going to build using a 1x11 M8000.

I want to, but I just cant bring myself to go 1X i am just not a spinner. all my mates bike have 30 to 32T front rings and spin out at 20mph!!

Is is possible to use a 44T front and then have the crazy big rings on the cassette so that we have the equivalent of

Low 22X32
High 44X11

To get the equivalent of 22x32 with a 44 tooth ring, you'd need a 64 tooth cog on the cassette. That would be "quite" big

About the closest to 22x32 you're gonna get with available cassettes is 34x50.

I'm going 10s 30x46 on my Sunn, which is pretty much equivalent
