Mystery sprockets

I bought a huge box of sprockets at a cycle jumble yesterday. Most are Regina and Maillard which I will sort out and sell on in case people have a use for them.

There was a cassette in there which is unusual and I hope somebody can enlighten me as to what it is. The splines are rounded, not like Campagnolo or Shimano. The teeth on the sprockets are rounded like shark teeth. It's unused, not just worn out.

Attached is a picture of the largest sprocket. It's 8 speed, although I think the smallest locking sprocket is not right for the rest.

Any ideas?

Yep Mavic supposed to ease gear shift & reduced chain slip Not sure but don't think it was any better than std shape profile sprockets
