Can anyone help me identify the first of these two frames

Both came from the same place as complete bikes and the 2nd was obviously a Meral so I'm assuming the one I can't identify is also French.

It was fitted with a mix of French and Italian parts like:

Stronglight cranks
Spidel pedals
Campag Nouvo Record mechs and levers
Mafac brakes and levers
27.2 Laprade seatpin
Champion clincher rims on Mailard hubs.

The only number on it is 62 stamped on the bottom bracket and it has some interesting details which are in some later pictures.

Good-looking frame. 62 looks like it could be the size in cms. What's odd about the rear mech cable guide?

Thanks non-fixie, of course yes 62 probably is the size and it's the little cable guide ring on the top of the drop out I've not seen before.

Ah, yes. I had missed that on my phone screen. I have seen it before, just can't remember where ....

Re:

Long Campag(?) dropouts might say about mid-'70s, although the top tube cable guides might say 'a bit later'.
French, Red, '70s... Lejeune? ...but anyone can paint a frame red, of course.
