Re: 1993 Breezer Storm project, on the way ! !

Next to ones of your hovver board and bus pass?

Re:

Coming soon!

Maybe even soon enough for a Peaks ride! ;)

Gathering parts as we speak.

What size seatpost do these take? The owner seems to think 27.0 but 27.2 would seem more likely

Re:

I finally picked up this project today, the previous owner having stripped the parts from it!

Ta-da!

The paint is pretty ropey, so I will touch up the worst parts with nail varnish, as per normal.

Ritchey Logic tubed, but with rack eyelets, slightly annoyingly. But I'll leave them on this frame I think.

Ritchey 6061 bars, 565mm, the like I've not seen before, along with a Breezer branded stem, with plenty of rise.

First job was to take the headset apart, as it was a bit notchy. Cleaned and -for now- assembled dry. Feels smooth again, but we'll wait to see if it still is when I assemble it properly.

Also wanted to sort out the seatclamp bolt situation. The holes in the frame are not big enough for a conventional pinch bolt, so I used a normal allen bolt and a nut from a rear mech, both anodized.

Going to the peak District in a couple of weeks, hoping to get it together for that break.

Looking forward to the build :)
