KHS Montana Pro Funbike

Feature Bike
So, my old-faithfull Team Stumpy is now clobbered up to the nines as my bike transport, which meant I was hungry for a low-fat something-or-other for off-road fun.

Here's my recipe:

Rescue an old steel bike that fashion has overlooked; preferably with a frame of the heat treated variety.
Throw in some store-cupboard ingredients (as few as possible - as many as necessary).
Simmer in the man-cave over Yule.
22.7 lbs. Go Play.

I love that! What size is it? I used to have an 18" one in 94 with a Rond fork.. I'm still hunting for a 19" today. SO many happy memories on that bike.

Re:

This one is 19 ctc: a tad small but very flickable.

I'm really impressed by its performance: light springy frame, light wheels and good modern tyres = massive fun on twisty, bermy singletrack.

I think the head angle is quite steep on these; but as long as you keep your weight in the right place, it goes where you think.

Will have to do a proper review/ride report at some point.
