I've got a pair of like new Sachs New Success brake levers which I'd sell if you fancy a change/upgrade. I'd be inclined to keep it original though, depending on the condition of what's already on the bike.

I would agree with everything mentioned by DynaCol, New Success would look great though and keep the Sachs theme going.

The Brake levers would be a good addition, there's also a couple of pairs of matching cantis and some Aris grip shifters on Ebay as well right now...

Was thinking about new Sram 7 speed grip shift, making the Isla bike connection full circle, but not sure if they would work.

The shifters are the same as I spotted, yes they're a bit 'overbuilt' on a second inspection! They might neaten up the controls a bit though? Sachs Wavey 7 speeds often turn up on ebay, I have some originals (bought new) on my 94 Zaskar and another set that I got more recently waiting to go on my Pioneer, when I eventually get it over to Argos for some new paint.
