Thanks for that mate as that explains alot and although the show won't be the same without Edd i don't blame him for leaving as the technical side of things really do make the show interesting which was also very useful ..

I think the show was being increasingly dumbed down and getting increasingly more scripted so Edd was right to jump.I remember reading reading something about how some of the car "buyers" were paid actors, one of the "buyers" was also filmed as a seller in another episode.I loved the earlier episodes done on a shoestring budget.As an aside,Fuzz from Car SOS is also a savage drummer.

Come to think of it I do remember vaguely one episode that I thought I'd seen a buyer before but couldn't think why so that explains it .

Yes Fuzz is a good drummer and a great guy .

The guy selling the bay window vdub was a buyer in another episode from what I recall.

Oh dear! I've not seen that episode yet so will be watching out for it to come round again ..

They weren't always, one of my mates bought his BMW Z1 and I know of someone else who bought the Ford Mustang they sold in the UK.
The new show is good and Edd leaving under a cloud has helped it no end as they seem to have taken on board all the feedback (I wonder if Ant was able state demands when he joined as well) from what made the show good (which was Edd working to Camera) and it now seems back to nearly original format. Hope they come back to the UK again. I hope Edd gets back on the TV too as he's a great presenter.
Further to Edd's video, where he was a real gentleman and didn't say anything bad about Brewer there is another one with Brewer being filmed where he trashes Edd and comes across as a bit of a tool.
