Hi peeps,
wife has found a very unusual MTB at a local bike jumble.
Seems it was built mostly to a 1992 Ritchey P-23 spec, but the frame/forks are very different.

Very nice condition though, I replaced the BB & grips, and it was complete. Sadly it's either too big (for missus) or too small ( for me).

10,5 kg weight as pictured, so no gaspipe special edition either I suppose.

Part's list:

Ritchey parts: Grips, handlebars, stem, brakeset, brakelevers, chainset, rims, rimstrips, tires, seatpost, saddle, headset

Shimano Deore XT parts: Rear hub, chain, thumbies, pedals, mechs, cassette

Other parts: Front hub - Shimano 600/Ultegra, Allen bolt hub/seatpost binders

Asking 350 GBP posted to UK given the vgc. condition Ritchey/XT parts.

Prefer selling it as a full bike, but sensible offers are welcome!

Cheers,
Endre

Re:

A photo of the bike on the floor may help!

Folk can get an idea of how it looks easier then. Just an idea. I wish Mrs Muz could find such interesting stuff for me! :xmas-big-grin:

Cheers Mike,

my other"s half fancied this position though  I mean the bike on the bench

Try to make some pics on "normal flooring" when I got the time!

Certainly looks interesting, though not sure what frame it is. Is there a frame number on it?

Re:

Ritchey d/outs are on a lot of frames. Does look nice though, whatever it turns out to be

Re:

Stems wrong for 92. A head stems did not appear for a couple of years after. Looks like some sort of replica. Too clean for original paint. Maybe someone has seen the dropouts and thought it to be a Ritchey. How it's ended up in a jumble I hate to guess. Anyways glwts!

Re:

The seat cluster looks right, but never seen a cable guide like that on a Ritchey
