Pinarello Montello C-Record 1988

Interesting question... It's 128mm . Maybe bended from 126 mm as the original hub was 131 mm .

The one if I decide for the GP4's is 132 mm. No problem to fit them but will the frame be stressed ? I believe I can remove the washer of the axle , can I ?

I've been searching for the right tape bar for weeks and came up with this: (same as the original ;)

Re:

Looks great..always had a soft spot for steel Pinarellos, and still haven't got round to building up my early 80's Treviso/Record frame.
You could go full bling with white hoods and a white saddle.
I'd probably also use stainless steel bottle cages.
Bike of the month contender ??

Thanks ;) Do it if you have the opportunity. It's a pleasure to see how these beauties come alive and shine again. To me it's more like restoring a piece of art, although completely rideable. I'll have a look about the bike of the month contest.

Yes, you are right on the hoods, Perico Delgado used white ones most of the time... But mines were in so VGC that I'll replace by white ones once they worn
