  Amazing collection !!! Any pics of the 97 FAT Ti please ?

Zzxxyy The reverse more often gets asked, ie conversion from
Ti canti to disk. Like many, i think it should only be considered when theres a frame repair but im a purist who loves originality. Only my opinion but its such a nice bike and first serial no too ? it would be a bit wrong to do that but its yours as they say. The frame design and geometry might not suit cantis either.

Re:

Yep. Been thinking about it for the past .... many years. ;)

Will post the latest incarnation once I get home. Currently traveling.

Re:

In Spain:
29er 140mm travel, ride anything Alu HT.
29er 100mm travel, XC Carbon race HT.
26er 150mm travel, Steel HT, wet rides and loaner.
26er Solid steel retro from 1992. Still a good trail bike.
26er Solid Alu ex XC racer, fitted with slicks, (all road bikes sold now).
BMX

In U.K.:
26er 100mm Alu F.S. For the Dark Peak.
26er 68mm travel Alu H.T. from 199?
26er Solid Steel H.T. from 199? Tourer and canal cruiser.

Oh, and still dreaming for more.

Re:

modern hardtail (my back up race bike)
modern full sus (my race bike)
29er (all rounder)
retro (for the trails where hydraulic brakes and suspension are overkill)

Re:

A very weird mix of bikes...

-Pashley Guv'nor 3 Speed to get around in general
-1933 New Hudson Carmine Club Model (a British Club bike)
-a red 1989 16" Dahon III folding bike. Got it for free, was never ridden. I polished it up and use it to commute short distances and when I have to go by train. My first folding bike; never thought that a bike like that could be so much fun. Gets me into conversations with people all the time.

soon to be-bikes/frame sets:
-1938 Dromos path racer frame and bits and pieces. Resting under the bed.
-1993 Giant Cadex CFM1 frame set

Only Retro MTBs for me.

2x Raleigh/Dynatech Ti
Orange Vitamin Ti
2x AMP Research B4
Dynarech MT4
Couple of frames, Trek Composite and Peugeot/Grisley

retro hardtails (many)
retro full sus (not so)
modern full sus (no more)
modern hardtails (yes)
dh (always)
motor (oh yes)

Nice, yeah NorthernDave’s last time  They are sooooo smooth to ride these, you hardly need any suspension. The Ti stem and bar combo gives you that little extra shock absorption up front too.

4ish? I have three road "racing" bikes of various vintages. I have one vintage hybrid, I have one cyclocross bike and three mountain bikes (all vintage).
