the forks i believe were brought in to the uk by carratti sport at the time, they were unwanted oem forks from a manufactuer that had surplus requirements.
rockshox used to do this to guarantee a certain price to all authourised rockshox dealers in the uk, to stop grey imports (or help stop)
i sold lots of these at jejames in sheffield years ago.

Well she has been out for a two hour ride and WOW :shock: Great bike, Well pleased ... Pretty damn stiff and once got the Rock shox tuned in a bit handle and moved fast!!
My main worry was being 18" was going to be too big/long reach but all felt good but dont think I will get away with flat bars pickle!!
