Old steel MTB

A few examples of what I'm after - Carrera Katmandu, Saracen Tufftrax, Specialized Rockhopper. No bigger than 20" (I'm 5'11") and reasonably priced.

Must have rigid fork and be in nice condition

Hey Tel, think you have seen my advert for my 1993 Lava Dome already.
If you fancied it I can do you a better price if I swapped the tyres out for some modern black walls in new condition. No postage needed as your not far from me.

It's a lovely bike but needs must. I'm 5 11" too and it fits great, 20" bikes would be too big off-road. Can have a try for size if you like.

1980’s (87/88 i believe) Saracen Tufftrax. I had the frame and fork media blasted and powder coated sky blue then Waxoyled the inside of all the tubes. It was built up with new rims, headset chain, cassette etc. It has a Tange MTB sticker on it because I had one. I think this has been ridden twice on hardpack since being built, under 100 miles.

Frame & Fork: Saracen Tufftrax. Seat tube measures 46cm C/C, top tube 55cm C/C.

Thanks for all the offers again guys but I did indeed go ahead with Kermits Saracen. I had one of them in mind anyway and the DX kit sealed the deal. Took delivery today
