Is the rear a 7speed hub? my Kona came with a set Mavic's but at some point I had to get an after-market replacement.
Is yours in decent condition and if so would consider selling it?

You've done a great job overhaulin the Lavadome it looks in excellent condition.
I've just been out on the Kilauea and you can tell straight away its the frame and forks they used on the 93 Lavadome and Cindercone,it felt exactly the same as my 93 Lavadome.

Yeah i'll be selling it to fund a DX hubbed Araya RM17 wheel to match the original front. It's a 7 speed Deore DX hub which is on the Mavic M231 rim,just been out on the bike and it felt nice couldn't hear any grumblings off the bearings.
I'll clean it up and send you some pics mate see what you think,looking at the bike i don't think it's had a lot of use going by the condition of the parts.

Thanks mate. Appriciate that. Nice work on the Lava Dome. looks fantastic. Exactly the same as mine. Mine is LX/Exage groupset.
