help with low price jacket? - occasional cyclist

Aldi's may still have some in stock, you can get a rain jacket and the excellent soft shell for £30. Otherwise they're having there running sale and those may be suitable, watch out for low backs though.
 
Cycling jackets need slightly longer arms & a bum-flap. They're rare & I don't have any suggestions, but you can occasionally find cycling jackets with integrated hood (not zip or velcro attached), & a bum-flap that can be velcrod or press-studded up. Then you can use your "cycling" jacket for the rest of the week too.
