Edited 15/03/09 for the final updates to the Storck Adrenalin build.

The Adrenaline has been given a light makeover "Retrobike style" with flat bars and skinwall tires, and have to say I like it. There's more saddle to bar drop but I've been riding the Explosif with a similar drop lately. The riding position is OK for the fast XC riding this frame is designed for. But enough talking, here's the pictures, Enjoy!!

Forks are beautiful

Rims look fine :D

Personally, I'd put a red outer chainring on and drop the risers for some nice flat bars. Just my opinion though ;)

Otherwise, lovely.

(Can you do a close up pick of the rear sus linkage?)

Very nice, good to see some of the older storcks, when did they start making frames? Is that an elastomer? Reckon you've got the detailing spot on too

Guess I'm not the only one visiting here in the lunch break then

Thanks again for the kind words, I'm well pleased with the forks indeed. They're just right for the chunky frame and match the stiff XC rear end in their action too.

I do agree with the comments re the front end: riser stem with flat bar or flat stem with riser bar, both together is too high. It's just that the parts are all Race Face now, and this is what I've got.

And yes, it is oil damped elastomer suspension, under 300 grams for the unit back in 97! And 97 was the first year of the Adrenalin. Marcus Storck was the Klein Importer for Germany I learned here, until he started producing Klein infuenced hardtails. IIRC Bart Brentjens won the 96 Olympics on a re-badged Storck so that puts their frames in 95 or earlier.

Enjoy!!

Have to agree with pickle those forks are stunning, great match for the frame.

Nice and subtle- something a bit different for these pages too.

Just the right amount of red- careful tho its easy to get carried away! ;)

Flat bars/ risers... I prefer flats but risers seem more 'correct' for a FS bike of 97 I reckon.

Just finished what I think is the final update to the Adrenalin build, updated these pictures in the opening post also.
