Re-sizing photo's

I could post some pictures which a few might find interesting, but my
jpeg's are too big. How can I re-size them? Sorry, this questions probably been asked too many times, but I'm new here.

Create a account at www.photobucket.com (or similar free photo hosting site) then when you upload there it will auto resize your images to your selected setting (640x480/800x600 being suitable for forums use.) then simply link the image from there using image tags.

And yes another useful tip on this forum is the search function

VSO image resizer is ver good, just adds the option in the right hand mouse button menu when you click on it

There is a perfectly good resizer built in Windows XP powertoys

Just install then right click and its done

or just open them in MS Paint (as long as you have Windows) and use the "Stretch/Skew" option from the Image menu.

I just use MS Outlook. Right click on the picture, send as email attachment, reduce the size, then save the attachment. Voila, smaller picture without too much of a reduction in size (just a reduction in kb's).
