Or FIR Orange even

Ive a pair siitting built to XT m739 hubs. The hubs are fine but the rims are either really really really worn, or only slightly.
:?
Thing im asking is for ID on, is there a step on the rim, along the inside edge of the braking surface ?
I seem to have a memory of rims having a step that would allow the pad to be set up and not push itself into the spokes. Or this is a false memory, and im trying to justify keeping them built

Pleease excuse the rubbish pic :)

Yeah, I've got one too. Laced on to a Ringle Front hub.

When I got it I just assumed it was goosed. I know it's got wear, but maybe then not as much as I initially thought.

Happy Days
