Yes it does need a good blast rather than round town! Not sure about 60mm of travel though been spoilt for a few years. Still I started in 1990 on a fully rigid Pine Mountain at Manchester Uni! Those were the days, awesome time in the Peak District.

Yes they are nice just been out this morning for a ride, never sell her, wish I had kept my other bikes the 1992 Spesh M2 with Grafton cranks, Manitou's etc would of been nice to still oggle at.
 
Very noice, is it a road only or do you stick some knobblies on at the weekend?
 
Used it a lot off road, commuting on it twice a week and winter road rides, but yep knobblies will be on this weekend for a blat if weather improves the slightest bit!
