King Kahuna build advice

Rigid titanium singlespeed. Nice. Do you have to tie it down on windy days?

Also, do you run a chain tensioner, eccentric hub or have you found a magic gear?

And, how dull must the inventor of the eccentric hub have been??
Its a hub with an offset axle. How damn eccentric is that?

 Heheh, never popped it on the scales so I don't know what it weighs exactly but it is pretty light.

Tried a tensioner at first to see if I liked singlespeeding and I did, so I bought one of those silly eccentric hubs and laced it into a rim, never looked back. Most of my biking these days is s/s.

You do much s/s?

Very nice mate, very nice :D .

I see that the rear mech cable is routed via the down tube, all my cable guides are on the top tube. Difference in years I guess, mine's a '98 what year is yours?

Yep the cable routing changed between 97-98, but not sure when.

My 97 model has top routing like the 98 so I assume that the routing changed in late 97 for the 98 model year.

Sorry mate, just sold them this afternoon! If it falls through I'll give you a shout.

The ti konas look better rigid anyway. ;)
