Wondering if you can help me get the exact specs of Steve Peats 1993 Kona Hei Hei. This is what I have at the moment:

Seat?
Cranks?

I don't think the cranks are XTR M900 although they look like the have shimano compact rings.

Does anyone have any images of the bike that might show up more details? Also would be keen to see the MBK 291 issue with the article at a better resolution.

The crank could be a Sugino XF Mighty?

The seat looks like a Selle San Marco Regal?

My best guess anyway!

Royce bb - judging by the Royce stickers and they look like Royce cranks bolts too.
 
I thought I'd saved a few of the pictures from the MBUK website, but I can only find one on an old hard drive, and that doesn't show any more detail than the picture above.

thanks jim, I found the same thing re images of the bike.

I am also wondering if maybe he was running a royce rear hub rather than XTR given the stickers on the bike and that possibly the front brake calliper is not a hope one but maybe something like an earlier Formula, as It looks different from a hope especially from the image you posted above.
