how much would a old merlin be worth ( 1" steerer !!?? ) ?? caught up with a old cycling buddy of mine, and knw that he wants to sell he's merlin frame for 1/2 of what he paid for..

na, no syncros please. looks too clunky on that frame imho. a salsa or ibis (pic stolen from coffeemug on mtb-classic.de) steel ahead would look nice or if you want aluminum a controltech. or an ibis titanium...
