Is it retro? Mmmm, no idea...
Is it cool? Yes!

My new purchase, just put some parts on it to make it look like a bike.
Will finish it with GT hadley hubs, Sram 9.0SL, Magura Johny T's and for the rest I dont know.

Oh yeah, sorry for the poor quality pictures but was buidling and watching teh A-team.....

What do you think?

What year, 1998/99? I assume it is a US made 6061 frame, in which case it is retro IMO.

What size?

I think it's a 18"GT size, it's 54 cm center BB-top of seattube.
It fits me nearly but ok, seatpost has to raise 2 cm and icw flite it must be ok.

It's a 6061 Zaskar suppose '99 one of the last USA made I think.

yes , must be one of the last few proper GT before they went bust .

nice colour scheme .

a friend as a Xizang like that , but it is a very small size .

Its size should be stamped on one of the dropouts along with the serial number

One of the last US build GT's.
Original 6061 T6 handmade frame from '99.
Strangly mine and Martin's both haven't got a framenumber.

I've just noticed the dropouts, not much chance of stamping numbers on those!

I think it's a 19", my RTS is stamped as a 19 and is 54cm C2T; so, if you ever want to sell...
