Finally getting my 92 Marin Eldridge grade Winter hack (Summer been and gone hasn't it) sorted. Bought the frame with the seatpost stuck and cut off, so had to melt it out with caustic soda.
Can anybody confirm the correct Seatpost diameter? I had the Vernier on it and I think it's 26.4, but not sure that the top of the tube hasn't been stretched. Tried an older 26.2 and it feels a bit sloppy.
