Kona Hei Hei

Checking a retrobike - Checking the details of a retrobike is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. First of all, verify her year of origin. She may look like she rolled off the production line in 1990 but who's to say the fellow before you didn't give her a good spraying?

I thik the chain is about right, you don't want it any longer or it'll be slack in some of the gears on the granny ring.

I can see the argument for the Ringle stem. There's always an argument for a Ringle stem. Not so sure about the black stackers though.

How did you establish what year it is?

Holy crap, thats gorgeous!

Didn't Kona make all those with titanium frames? Cost a bleedin' fortune if memory serves.

Stunning mate. Top job.
