Some really nice lug work , nicely filed as well . Round section fork blades and twin plate fork crown.

Would love to know the history of the frame , age , who build it etc .

Hi chipper,Kevin Scriven was a 'Works' rider for Hinds. My bike is one of his,he rode it for about 1200 miles on a tour of Normandy. When I met Kevin,I forgot to ask him about dates. The frame builder was Mr Bird.
From the components,I would guess your bike is later than mine.

Nice story and equally nice bikes the pair of them. I'm really like the lug work knowing what goes into making them. A job well done gentlemen

An old friend of mine had a Saturday job in one of the cycle shops,he had to draw the shapes on the blank lugs,& file them to shape.I understand this was standard practice, right up to the 1970's.

Thanks for the update , Mr Bird would be Alec Bird I guess , I think my frame is the same era as your frame , the components fitted, are much latter. I decided a while back to take mine off the road, it's too nice to use as a hack , long term plan is to fit some quality period correct track parts , definitely won't be repainting it
love it as it is.
