Hi chipper,Kevin Scriven was a 'Works' rider for Hinds.My bike is one of his,he rode it for about 1200 miles on a tour of Normandy.When I met Kevin,I forgot to ask him about dates.The frame builder was Mr Bird.chipper":jbayjfxi said:Ok, so I threw a bucket of water over it
Some really nice lug work , nicely filed as well . Round section fork blades and twin plate fork crown.
Would love to know the history of the frame , age , who build it etc .
From the components,I would guess your bike is later than mine.

An old friend of mine had a Saturday job in one of the cycle shops,he had to draw the shapes on the blank lugs,& file them to shape.I understand this was standard practice,right up to the 1970's.kingbling":22tgrkc3 said:
