Alpinestar?

I agrre with Neillll.
It's a special headtube for the T26. The T26 was only an almega or a cromega in a very small size.

Sorry, but your bike is not an alpinestar :?
 
Looks like an Ammocco, my step-dad bought one years ago. £100 ish budget bike, made with scaffolding poles. Sorry dude... :(

Hi all, I have almost the same bike like that from around 1995-1997 with a merlin decal and serial number on the outer down BB CM 34600082..
anyone can recognize this bike?is this a real merlin bike?
