Hi, just a bit of advice please.

This is a Y frame full suss, but I dont know much else about it. I have the chance to buy, but do you think it is worthwhile? Do you know where I can find original spec and price? Also, what do you think they are worth now?

Any help much appreciated. :D

made by trek, prob. in the y-bike days of urt bikes. not bad, but not brill either. retro wise defo worth getting i reckon! if its worth it..

what colour/spec is it?

Hi X, its yelllow head tube, going into light blue witha yellow swingarm.

I don't know the spec, or even where it sat in the range as I'm just working from a small photo with no opporunity to ask questions of the owner.

Should be pretty cheap though.

Need to get some retro back in the stable as I regret selling my concours, rigid Cannondale a year or so back.

much you paying?
would say 96/97 or so
urt's are an aquire taste
if it's cheap go for it .

looks worth a ton just check the shocks not leaking and every thing
works okay
URT= unified rear triangle
the drivetrain is seperate from the main frame (sort off) supposedly
acts like a hardtail when stood up, climbing, sprinting etc and full suss
when sat down.they were heralded as the future a few years ago(bit like most things fisher "invents")
but seem to have disappeared from "quality" mtb's these days
still a reasonable bike spesh for £100 or less

take it your new to this nonsense?
mike

UPDATE, while waiting on the GF I just bought up a Muddy Fox (see gallery).

I paid £26, but havent picked it up yet.

It was described on e-bay only as a Tange mountain bike, so I don't know what model or year it is. Do you have any ideas? does it look original?

Cheers, D.
