Hi Folks.

I acquired a this Kona frameset recently (thank you Paul) to build up for my brother. Colour matched the paint (including custom booster ;) ) and built up with spares. Thank you to those that did contribute the parts I did need.

Again not "bling" but very practical.

Excellent colour match and authentic decals Mark. I'm not normally in favour of respraying, but that's a really good job - and gives a good frame another ten years lease of life!

Is it powder or liquid?

No respray option. Its 97% original paint just touched up where needed.

Even more impressed then, I couldn't spot any signs of retouching. I'm trying to match to the metallic grey/green of a 96 Explosif at the moment, but without any success whatsoever so far!
 
i truthfully love this, i have the same 1998 frame, mine has lots of scratches and im totally in love with it, i have to say its the nicest frame ive ever ridden!

I also have a kona sex too, as with all problems associated with them its the '95 marzhocchi rear shock thats gone, and im finding it near impossible to find any common knowledge,

if anyone knows itll be much appreciated, (ive heard fox alps and risse but cant find either anywhere)

Have you tried tech@konaworld.com for advice?
 
Super clean build :cool: where did you get the cable cover stuff if you don't mind me asking?
