Canadian stuff: Brodie Expresso!

Well, here's an other sweetheart of mine.
It is a Brodie Expresso from 1996.

First there was the frame - I got it in NOS condition from a collector in south germany last year.
As you can see on the pics, the frame actually is a bit small for me- but it works great, and I didn't find another frame in this great condition.

Then it was time for testing some components.
The frame is from 1996 and thus suspension corrected, so unfortunately I cannot use a brodie gatorblade fork :(
So I tried an AMP fork (and I really like them), but I soon saw that this was not the final build-up.
By the way: although I'm looking for a gatorblade in good condition, perhaps not for this frame... ;)

So THIS is the final building.
The tires will be soon replaced with Smoke/Dart first generation.

I was overjoyed riding this bike first time!

Nice greetings
Christian :)

Christian that's two amazing bikes in one week.....I LOVE that Brodie :D

That's a beauty. Nicely done. Brodie made some great frames back in the 90's. I have a Romax. Best steel frame I've ever put a leg over.

Lovely frame and nice use of parts. I can't help but think that fork is wrong though :?

Very nice, no matter what you hang from it!

Although a syncros fork would be the finishing touch.IMHO. :D

Cheers,Al
