1 of about 170 produced with Merlin titanium lugs.

Full black XT 730 except cranks, like Ned rode it but witch black IRD post and black Specialized stem/handlebar combination as shown in the 1991 catalogue.

So yours is full XT? Interesting.
I think the 91 catalog has it as a full Suntour XC Pro bike, though you're right about Neds (from the 90 Worlds anyway). Though Ned's bar/stem combo was Litespeed.

Mine is all original as well (so far as I can tell)...but with the full M900 XTR build which wasn't until 1992. Not sure what happened there.

Very subtle bikes for what they are!

Yes, I just wanted a mixture of the catalogue optic and Overends technique :)

I´m not so happy with the upload of photos here on RBUK (512kb max.) ... The first photo has oval wheels...

thats pretty cool but why go to the trouble of having titanium lugs and steel tubes...why not just go full ti..
