Hello,
I just re-bought this old mountainbike that was my dad bike. (its an old bianchi around 93-94 It was in a pretty bad shape but im making it new.
I have a little problem finding new or fixing the rockshox. I don't know if they are a Mag20 or Mag21, but the problem
is that the tube its only 1" and i find only 1"1/8 and it has to be "filettato".
Anyone can help me please?
Now the bike its to get the color back. but i need to find a new rock shox for the bike. any help or suggestion?
What about the xt it has, can I find a new changing gear like that?
any idea are helpfull

best regards

Michele

Welcome! :D

What is wrong with steerer You have on the bike? You can swap lowers from donor fork if You find original fork "unservicable".
Try to look in "MTB for sale" section of this site for parts.

You might be better putting a post in the wanted section, I'm sure someone will be able to help :D
Nice bike by the way

Mark

Fork legs are held by two bolts on each side. If there is nothing wrong with Your steerer/fork crown, You can just replace legs.

Re:

if the components are ok just keep them.

I would recommend replacing the gripshift xray shifters on the handlebar with deore xt top mount thumb shifters...like this.

Re:

Very nice the shift! Are for sale?
The steeter(manubrio) its fine. Only the rock shox hidraulics Are not working. So i can maybe buy only the lower part?

Re:

you will have to buy a fork that is rebuilt and take the lowers off to use.

shifters are not for sale. just search ebay for "deore xt thumb shifters"
