Indentified as a SUNN Exact '97

Picked up this Sunn this morning for just €50,- , never in my life a bought a bike this early, 8 AM
Have to say that I bought the bike for the Race Face crank because i was looking for 1 to put on another project frame, i was surprised by the carbon fork and the level of parts of the rest of the bike
Might be interesting to make this a project bike if it is worth saving.

It's a Sunn, but the info on Sunn's on (english) Internet is very limited
the paint is in the original condition and needs a respray.

Shifters: ESP 9.0SL (1 side)
Front Derailleur: SRAM 9.0
Rear Derailleur: ESP 9.0SL
Cassette: Shimano XT M737
Cranks: Raceface Turbine
Chainrings: Sunn branded TA Specialities
Hubs: Brubz 3
Seatpost: Syncros

On the top tube you can still see the marks of the old sticker so ther should have been one there.
There is a sticker that says "Comp S" but i can not find any Sunn with the name "Comp S"

so to all Sunn specialists,.. what did I buy today

Its not a '99 Urge XC is it - the Comp logo was along the toptube.

The Urge XC came with 1 Obsys 55 fork, not the Carbon.
And the Comp stickers which is still on the frame looks different.
The picture shown above is the one from the add ,.. i will have to make some better after work,.. the bike is still in my car.

Need to pump those carbon :mrgreen: forks up though

And lose that saddle !

I do not have the pump with the fork.
It is totally flat,.. the bike has not been used for over 6 years according to the previous owner.

That forks looks not that bad btw,..
I was thinking , and that was my first intention, to move the parts to my Voodoo Hoodoo project frame, but more and more i start to like the Sunn

Yes another useful link.

Check the bolts holding the brace on too. Mine were pretty stuck and slightly rounded off.

Replaced with stainless now
