For the 1995 model year then, look at how many 2016 bikes are already available and already manufactured.

As I've said, back then I think GT change their model year in September, so 0994 or later would be a 95 model.

As discussed on previous threads they probably stockpiled some at the start of the model year before sending out to the shops. My 94 model year frame has serial no. 0893...

I think I might do the same, for the same reason of different dropouts on the 94's, plus I think I like the 93 font better
