Retrobike peaks meet 2008 - aftermath thread

Cheers orange, did me proud again, more rubber to rock area on them hairy descents. Twas a good day, weather "turned out nice again" good crew, few laughs on the way, especially at the "lets off road" stop where there were some great "off road" blokes complete with camos, and their kids has camos as well, .....made me laugh anyway.
Route was gruelling for the unfit novices (err - me), but not as bad as last year...or just maybe i'm a tiny bit fitter?(!)

Good to meet new and ahem... "old" faces, no offence :D

Must add though, top marks to Mr K for the route! Bit of everything, absolutely perfect

The last climb was my fave bit :D

However, there were moments when I regretted going rigid  Probably no the best ride to decide to try it for the first time in over 10 years

Cant wait for Peaks 09 ;)

Rigid was fine yesterday, the P20 was brilliant. Though i do have a slight nerve problem in my little finger on my right hand :?
Anyway seeing as this the official thread, some more photos.
He didn't believe that the water was the way to go....
