Originally sold in 1985, and then made its way back to the original shop a few months ago where it was offered for sale. All original except for the chain, cables and headset. Serial number is SM096. Custom brazed by Ross. More photos soon!

Thanks. I think it has a few scratches from all these years, not as clean as it may look in that photo. But it'll be a rider!

Some better photos. Such a fun bike to ride.

Original portage strap is still present and in good condition. The freewheel was replaced to eliminate some shifting issues and the tyres replaced due to the original ones being rotten.

The fillet brazing is so smooth it hasn't been filed.

One of my new favorites. I need a Scoboni!


I know I am in the minority here but certainly the 80's vintage pre suspension fillet brazed frames are the prettiest bikes made, and this is an awesome example.

I have to agree with you Tim. I am more and more leaning towards fillet brazed steel bikes of the eighties. So good to ride.
