Right. Here are mine. Let's see if you can top them

1. Have met and spoken with Mark 'Blast Off' Batt.
2. Once built a bike for Richard Ashcroft of the Verve.
3. Pictured on bike in an advert for a major motor manufacturer featured in the national press. As was Russell I believe.
4. Once owned a bike which was previosuly owned by Jo Burt.

I'm still trying to get to the bottom of whether my Proflex 855 was once owned by one of the Grewal brothers...

Pretty good friends with Ned Overend, Todd Wells, and Chris Herting

Real good friends with Tom Danielson

Went to Worlds for US

Raced a full season (30 races) in 1993. I was 13.

Laurent Finion once spit on my shoe prior to the start of the eigth stage of the Tour Depont in North Carolina.

I looked down on him, as he is a wee bit of a man, and said in my most hurt voice..."Dude"

To which he looked up over his granny glasses and uttered a dismissive "hurumph".

God, it brings tears to my eyes to remember how close we were in that moment.
