Internal clamp bar ends?

I'm sure someone used to make bar ends that clamped inside the handlebar - meaning you didn't need to move everything inwards in order to fit them.

So can anyone remember who made them / has anyone got any?

pretty sure they still overlapped the bar as well didn't they?

Onza, Syncros, Control Tech and Raleigh all did the real quill ones (I had em all), Answer had a bit of an overlap on the hyperlight one. Just don't use on thin ali or carbon as the bars make a great noise when they split!

Think it was the Onza ones I was thinking about...

I was contemplating some for the 856, but I've not put the flat bar on it yet, so I don't know if it's gonna be too narrow or not! I've not ridden anything other than risers for about 10 years, so I'm not sure what to expect...

TBH I'll probably just find some x-lites, like I had years ago - don't fancy ripping the end of a handlebar off anyway!
