I spent HOW MUCH on a BB and chainset back then :shock:
Still I thought things would have progress a lot more than that in 16 years.

materials have progressed but will still stuck with the computer designed ramp shifting that is now some 22 years old...
this means I can run the original 1988 Deore mech with a 2008 nine speed chain and a 9 spd cassette just to see if it worked.
