Orange Clockwork Forks

I've a 1993 Clockwork with the original forks. This has probably been asked before but is it possible to fit suspension forks? I realise that these would have to be retro, and probably unobtainable. Would the geometry be adversely affected, is it a stupid idea? Thanks.

Re:

I used to run Manitou 2's on my '92 Clockwork, not too tall to effect the geometry and pop up time to time for not a lot of money.

Re:

Well, it has to be Pace...! RC-35's would do the trick.

You just need to ensure you get a 1" threaded steerer to fit the headtube.

Re:

Personally I wouldn't bother there's loads of flex in the original forks and think if you fit early suspension forks your just adding weight it won't make much difference to the ride

a 65mm marzocchi nZ2 bomber will improve it night and day. And those are the forks that would look period and do the job proper

Re:

X2 for RC35's. They go very well with a 1993 Clockwork. Shouldn't cost the earth either and plenty about.
