Buying a problem frame?

Another frame i'm looking at...

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... %3AIT&rd=1

It has no rear shock, but they reckon the rear shocks can still be purchased. I love these frames, but I have a feeling that finding a rear shock for these would be harder than finding a bell-cam brake linkage for a Pro-Flex!

So has any one got a lead on these rear shocks? or would it just be buying a problem?

Dunno about genuine rear shock but would it be a bit un-retro to fit an adapter to a modern shock and use that until such a time as you find a proper one?

Hi, maybe a bit late to reply to this one? One of these, a complete bike, was up on ebay recently, the rear shock is just a simple elastomer thing and I think they still made them up to 2006 in aluminium, contact to company and they could probably help?
