Do I, or dont I

I have a 1995 GT Zaskar, one of the last US built bikes. I also have a large amount of XTR and XT components from 1994/95 in varying states of condition including some XTR hubs.

Do I restore the GT with the bits and bobs, or bolt them onto a new frame and hammer them ?

I also have some Suntour XCRPro Grease Guard Hubs and some original Suntour Friction Shifter, do I build these into the restoration.

Help me I am confused.!!!! :?

Zaskar needs a bit of welding, so that should be a good excuse for a respray.

hi how do you mean welding is the frame cracked if so when you have it welded dunck it in cold water (the welded area) then leave it for 2wks then it will be ok to ride.this helps to age harden the area.i had this done a few months age.
