My last proper race was at an National Points Series race at Newnham in 1998. Had to go for reconstructive surgery on my left shoulder which put an end to my racing career. The best bit was the descent after the bombholes section. Flying down a narrow corridor of trees with the wheels hardly touching the ground.
I know a few of you may find it hard to believe but BITD I was a serious fast racer. Newham and Margram were my favourite courses on the circuit.
