Ok guys, It has been three years coming, but finally it is complete and has been on it's maiden voyage. Pic's so far are not of finished build but they are hopefully coming. I have deliberately made sure that you have to scroll through all the details before reaching the pic's...

Frame: 1995 S-Works Team FSR 18"
Fork: Rock Shox Judy FSX (Englund Air kit awaiting fittimg)
Headset: Dia Compe original Aheadset
Stem: S-Works Titanium (changed to a shorter 120mm now)
Handlebar: X-Lite XC
Grips: Grip Shift new!
Brakes: Avid Tri-Align
Brake Pads: Kool Stop Eagle II new!
Brake Cables: Gore Ride On new!
Cantilever cable hangers: Avid Tri Dangles
Brake Levers: Avid Ultimate new!
Shifters: SRT 800 X-Ray
Front Derailleur: FD - M901
Rear Derailleur: RD - 7404 Dura Ace
Derailleur Cables: Gore Ride On new!
Cassette: M900 12-28 new!
Chain: 7401 new!
Cranks: M900
Crank Bolts: S-Works Alu new!

Cheers Pickle, no new decals, or at least not at the mo, this is going to be a rider for sure, I quite like the battle scars. If I was going to do the decals then i would want to do the paint, and if i was going to do the paint then i would want to do some repairs to the frame etc etc etc.

Hmm, maybe your right about the 'used' look. I considered it for a bit when I built the LTS, but my vanity got the better of me!

It was a bit of a tough decision, but now I've got another project which will doesn't need any repairs, will have a new paint job, and plenty of polish, I can leave this one well alone. Vanity never was one of my vices :wink:

I have another Sworks FSR on 1994 and i ride reagulary.

Brusque, that is very nice, a 1994, just one model year before mine. I was looking at one in the US but it went before I got to it, i do like the yellow decals on the red.

Scant, yes this is the one I bought from you :oops: Has it really been that long?!

Ok, so I have just been out and fitted the stem and bars, levers, shifters, BB, cranks, front mech, Ti bottle cage bolts and ribcage, seat QR, USE Ti post and Ti Flite, phew!

Pic's to follow soon. I am trying to keep some form of photo diary in my gallery too

In my experience the battle scars tend not to stand out as much once the frame is all built up.

No updated pic's I'm afraid, but I have updated the spec as I have manged to change a couple of things. I now have all parts required to finish build so is just a matter of time now.

I will start new threads for all the other bikes in the fleet as none of them are on here at all!

i had one of those '95 team s-works. Got it from a guy who bought it off a woman who used to race for Specialised. It got damaged in a fire, by that i mean a bin went on fire near it and the paint bubbled slightly near the head tube and down tube intersection. Specialised replaced it for her straight away and i ended up with it. I had it resprayed with new decals. Now one of my mates has it back home and he's fooked the rear shock. My first ever full sus it was

Despite saying that I had all the bits before, I changed my mind about the tyres which set me back as I only found a rear. I have now found a front tyre and once it arrives, time to get back to this baby and update the thread. It has been on hold too long, November 2007 I bought the frame from Mike and it has taken this long to find all the right bits and gradually bring it together. She will be finished soon!
